Tanya Liu
Tanya Liu received her B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014. She is currently working on her PhD in mechanical engineering as a member of Professor Ken Goodson’s NanoHeat group at Stanford University. Her research focuses on two-phase heat transfer on the micro and nanoscale in various porous media, with a focus on electronics cooling. Her current project involves the fabrication and characterization of silicon-based devices for heat spreading and thermal switching applications. Tanya is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
