Update on PdO and TiSnO3 as High-Mobility p-Type MetalOxide Candidates

In this Theme #1 liaison meeting we will describe our progress toward two p-type metal oxide semiconductors—PdO and TiSnO3—targeted for their potential in p-channel transistors for vertical CMOS.  After briefly recapping our collaborative approach that is informed by theory, ASCENTstudents and postdocs will present our combined status involving theory, synthesis, and progress toward transistor fabrication.  The agenda for this live liaison meeting during which questions are encouraged is:

p-type TCO candidates and why PdO and TiSnO3—D.G. Schlom + K.J.Cho (5 min)

MBESynthesis of PdO—Jake Sun(15 min)

Theory ofPdO—Patrick Conlin (10 min)

ALDSynthesis of TiSnO3—A. Hock + Michael Foody (15 minutes)

Progress toward Transistors—Dongqi Zheng(12 minutes)
